The Citizen Police Academy Alumni of North Texas is comprised of volunteers who are dedicated
to community involvement and helping to make their city and the north Texas region a better, safer place to live.
It is the mission of the Citizen Police Academy Alumni of North Texas (CPAANT) to assist and support the Police Departments
of all member and potential member cities, in developing and maintaining a positive relationship between the police and their
communities
We as members of CPAANT will:
* Continue to educate ourselves concerning crime and
its prevention. * Share this education with the broader community. * Meet regularly on the first or
second Saturday of every month, except in July or August as this will conflict with the Texas
Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association annual convention (TCPAAA). * Gather information
from member communities concerning their police agencies, especially information concerning community
policing projects and priorities * Form special committees to better allow CPAANT members
to focus their individual attention and interests.
How to Become a CPAANT Member
You can become a member of CPAANT if you have formed an alumni from a graduating Citizen Police Academy class
held by the police department in your city. Feel free to forward questions on how to create an alumni to CPAANT President
John Gault john.gault@cpaant.org. Questions regarding memberships to CPAANT may be forwarded to Scott Peterson, CPAANT Vice-President, at scott.peterson@cpaant.org. Dues will be $25 and assessed on an annual basis.
